During Operation Guddar in the dense forests of Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir, Subedar Perbhat Gaur was part of a counter-terrorism operation launched on the basis of credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists. As the operation unfolded, security forces came under intense enemy fire.
Displaying remarkable bravery and exceptional leadership, Subedar Perbhat Gaur fought valiantly while leading from the front. Despite sustaining critical injuries during the fierce exchange of fire, he continued to stand firm in the line of duty. He ultimately made the supreme sacrifice while defending the nation, embodying the highest ideals of courage and patriotism.
His sacrifice is a testament to the unwavering resolve of India's Armed Forces and serves as a lasting reminder of the price paid by those who dedicate their lives to safeguarding the country's peace and security.
