Constable Davinder Singh of the Jammu and Kashmir Police made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on 13 September 2010 in Baramulla.
Serving with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, he carried out his responsibilities during a challenging period in the region, when police personnel continued to stand on the front lines of maintaining security and protecting the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
His service reflected the courage and devotion to duty of the men and women of the Jammu and Kashmir Police who continued to serve despite the dangers associated with their responsibilities.
