The Indian Army organised an Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Meet at Balapur in Shopian, bringing together veterans and Veer Naris to address their grievances and welfare-related concerns.
The interaction provided members of the veteran community an opportunity to raise issues concerning their welfare and seek assistance through the various support mechanisms present during the event.
Welfare Support for Veterans
The Zila Sainik Welfare Board, JAK LI Records and Para Legal Volunteers supported the meet and assisted in addressing welfare-related issues raised by the attendees.
The interaction provided a common platform for veterans and Veer Naris to engage with representatives and seek assistance on matters requiring attention.
Medical Assistance
Healthcare support was also provided during the event through an MI Room, enabling attendees to avail medical care during the meet.
The initiative brought welfare assistance and healthcare support together for the veteran community at Balapur.
