Naik Pushvinder Kumar of 41 Rashtriya Rifles served in the challenging operational environment of Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. The accident resulted in the loss of several soldiers, while others sustained injuries and were taken for medical treatment.
Naik Pushvinder Kumar made the supreme sacrifice in the tragic accident. His death came while he was serving in an operational area alongside his fellow soldiers. He had been carrying out the responsibilities assigned to him as a member of 41 Rashtriya Rifles, a unit whose personnel were deployed in the difficult terrain of Kupwara to maintain security and counter militant activity.
