THE HONOUR POST
SPO Maqbool Hussain Shah of Jammu and Kashmir Police made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on 15 September 2008 during an encounter with terrorists at Tararan Wali Dhok in the Surankote area of Poonch district.
He was among the Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel who stood alongside the security forces during the operation against terrorists in the Tararan Wali forest belt. Maqbool Hussain Shah made the supreme sacrifice during the encounter.

On 15 September 2008, SPO Maqbool Hussain Shah laid down his life while confronting terrorists at Tararan Wali Dhok, Surankote, Poonch.
