The 115 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) inaugurated an Inter-Company Sports Competition with a volleyball tournament at Dignibal, Ganderbal, on October 12, bringing personnel together to promote physical fitness, teamwork and camaraderie.
The tournament commenced under the guidance of Shri M. S. Shekhawat, Commanding Officer of 115 Battalion CRPF. Volleyball marked the opening of the competition, with personnel taking part in an activity that encourages coordination, discipline and healthy competition.
The initiative aims to foster esprit de corps, strengthen bonds among personnel and encourage a sporting spirit within the battalion. Such competitions provide an opportunity for personnel to demonstrate their abilities outside routine duties while maintaining an emphasis on physical fitness and collective effort.
Inter-company sporting events also give personnel an opportunity to interact in a competitive yet collaborative environment. Volleyball, which requires communication, anticipation and coordination, places particular emphasis on teamwork and mutual understanding.
The competition at Dignibal reflects the battalion's focus on encouraging fitness and camaraderie through organised sporting activities. The tournament brings the companies together around a shared objective, with the emphasis on participation, discipline and team spirit.
