Constable Dilbagh Singh served with the 15th Battalion of the Border Security Force.
On 7 October 2002, he was deployed at FDL Chhat OP in Jammu & Kashmir when the post came under unprovoked Pakistani firing.
In the face of the firing, BSF personnel remained committed to their duties and continued to hold their positions. Constable Dilbagh Singh served alongside his comrades in these difficult circumstances.
He made the supreme sacrifice on 7 October 2002 while serving at FDL Chhat OP with the Border Security Force.
Constable Dilbagh Singh is remembered for his courage, devotion to duty and sacrifice in service of the nation.
