Archive status — VERIFIED PARTIAL: The individual records displayed below are taken from the official Ministry of Defence / Press Information Bureau release dated 8 July 2004, which records four Kirti Chakra and thirty-four Shaurya Chakra recipients. The complete individual recipient lists for the larger 2004 Sena Medal, Nao Sena Medal and Vayu Sena Medal categories have not been inserted here because they have not yet been independently verified from an appropriate primary Government of India source.
